Latest advice on covid-19 improve international

11 May 2020 UPDATE

At Improve International, we remain committed to delivering world-class veterinary CPD to veterinary professionals during this Coronavirus pandemic.

We are following Government guidelines and naturally, the safety of our staff, speakers and delegates is our priority. Although we have had to rearrange several attendance sessions for later this year or early 2021, we are still planning to run our Modular Certificate Programmes starting this October.

We realise that there may still be some restrictions in place at that time involving group gatherings and social distancing. To offer reassurance during these uncertain times, we will be providing appropriate PPE for attending delegates and also arranging for live sessions to be streamed online if physical attendance is not possible.

Using the latest Livestream technology, speakers will provide engaging and interactive sessions with plenty of time for questions and discussion. We have been doing this successfully since the start of ‘lockdown’ and feedback from delegates has been very positive. If the programme has any practical teaching components, these will be rescheduled to the earliest possible date.

We’ve also updated our Ts & Cs so you can book in full confidence with a full refund guarantee should your circumstances change.

23 March 2020 UPDATE

Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) Extraordinary Terms and Conditions Update

Due to the current Coronavirus outbreak and the challenges that it brings, Improve International Ltd is temporarily updating our Terms and Conditions around cancellations, please see a summary of changes below and check our full terms and conditions here.

For any booking taken from 23 March 2020 until 31 December 2020, you will have the right to a full refund for the programme or course you have booked if you cancel any time ahead of the programme or course start date.

The safety of our delegates, speakers and employees continues to remain our priority therefore following the UK Government’s latest advice, we have made the following decision. This Friday 20 March will be the last day that we will deliver face to face training sessions at our venues in the UK, until 11 May 2020.*

Where possible, any courses which do not involve wet-lab or practical hands-on content will be streamed ‘live’ with the course tutor, enabling you to continue your CPD. We have already provided this option to some delegates unable to travel and it has proved very successful and an enjoyable learning experience.

Your Programme tutor will be contacting everyone individually with details of the ‘live’ streaming format or alternative dates in the future for the practical sessions.

We will continue to adhere to UK Government advice and as we receive further information and guidance we will update you accordingly. If you have any questions about any course(s) booked, please email us at

We are working very hard to continue to provide the quality of service you have invested in and we wish you well in these challenging times.

*(We will, of course, be reviewing this date as we progress so please do not assume we can start on 11 May and avoid booking non-refundable travel or hotels)
