This year Improve International turns 21! As part of our celebratory activities, we are fundraising for the Bumblebee Conservation Trust, a charity which carries out fantastic conservation work all year round to help protect bumblebee species in decline.

Would you like to help us raise money for this worthwhile charity?

We have received some extremely generous donations from a variety of different companies that we work with; Orthomed, 5m publishing, Ambrose Fox, Morris Owen, Alexandra House Hotel and Protexin.

You are able to bid any amount you would like and the money from the winning bid will all be donated to the Bumblebee Conservation Trust. Prizes range from veterinary equipment for your practice to items that would make great gifts for family and friends!

What’s great is knowing that if you have the winning bid, all of your money will be donated to a fantastic cause!

A 21 mile rowing challenge in one day?! This summer, some members of the Improve International team will be taking part in a continuous 21-mile row here in the office to represent our 21st anniversary.

We will be posting updates throughout the day and would really appreciate any donations or sponsorships for this event! All money donated will be given to the Bumblebee Conservation Trust.

We would like to thank you in advance for your help and support to raise as much as possible for such a great charity as we celebrate 21 years of training veterinary professionals!

About the Bumblebee Conservation Trust

The Bumblebee Conservation Trust was established in 2006 because of serious concerns about the ‘plight of the bumblebee’. In the last 80 years bumblebee populations have crashed in the UK. Two species have become nationally extinct and several others have declined dramatically. Bumblebees are familiar and much-loved insects that pollinate our crops and wildflowers, so people are rightly worried.

The Trust has a vision to create a world where bumblebees are thriving and valued. Supporting the work of the Trust through fundraising and donations enables their conservation and science team to deliver practical conservation to restore and create bumblebee habitat, provide ID training, provide advice to farmers and landowners, engage the general public and much more to take action for this charismatic insect.
