Objectives

This course will provide up to date information on the following key areas:

  • Explain the immunology of auto immune skin diseases
  • Devise a diagnostic approach to immune mediated skin diseases
  • Describe the pathogenesis of pemphigus foliaceous and choose appropriate therapy for long term management
  • Become familiar with MLCE and nodular panniculitis and their management
  • Consider and reflect on your use of glucocorticoids in the treatment of auto immune diseases and understand treatment options available
