Improve International Launches PgC in Dentistry and Oral Surgery
Improve International has launched a Postgraduate Certificate (PgC) in Dentistry and Oral Surgery to help vets in first opinion practice to diagnose and treat the increasing number of patients suffering from dental or oral disease.During the 14-module programme of lectures, case discussions and practical sessions, delegates will learn how to approach the dog, cat and exotic patient presenting with manifestations of oral pathology in a logical and scientific manner. Lecturers for the programme, which starts in January 2020, include respected dental and oral surgical experts, including Dr Bob Partridge and Dr Rachel Perry, both European and RCVS Specialists in Veterinary Dentistry and Dr Owen Davies, an RCVS Specialist in Veterinary Oncology.
IVSA Glasgow Hosts IVSA Vienna in Exchange Visit Supported by Improve International
The Glasgow Chapter of the International Veterinary Students Association (ISVA) hosted a group of veterinary students from IVSA Vienna during an educational and cultural exchange visit from 12-19 April. During the visit, sponsored by global veterinary CPD specialist Improve International, the Austrian students enjoyed lectures at the Veterinary School at the University of Glasgow. They also learned about falconry and handling birds of prey and had the opportunity to practice their lambing skills.
New European-wide Postgraduate Qualification in Advanced Small Animal Medicine Launched
An accredited General Practitioner Advanced Certificate (GPAdvCert) in Small Animal Medicine has been launched by Improve International aimed at veterinary professionals across Europe who wish to advance their knowledge and diagnostic skills, progress their academic qualifications and gain recognition in their field. It follows the successful launch of Improve’s first GPAdvCert in Small Animal Orthopaedics earlier this year.
