Sanne graduated from Ghent University in 2008, followed by a rotating internship in small animals at the same University. She has worked in France and Belgium, where she realized her interest in anaesthesia and completed her Residency in Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia at Ghent university in 2014. She became a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia in 2014 and an RCVS Recognised Specialist in Veterinary Anaesthesia in 2015. Since moving to the UK she has worked in private referral practice and has been an anaesthetist at Pride Veterinary Centre since 2016. She has a particular interest in induction and monitoring of anaesthesia, pain recognition and chronic pain management.
