Introduction:

This program is designed to advance and optimise your knowledge and skills in dentistry and
patient dental care.
The one day course is a mix of lectures and practical sessions.
Lectures will cover surgical techniques, including periodontal flaps and surgical extractions;
surgical complications, current management options for feline resorptive lesions, the use
of local anaesthetic blocks and analgesia. Dental radiography including positioning and
interpretation of dental xrays will also be covered.
Practical sessions will include hands on surgical extractions, local anaesthetic blocking
techniques and dental radiography.

At the end of this course, delegates will be able to:
• Diagnose, treat and manage periodontal diseases
• Perform complicated surgical extractions
• Take the perfect dental radiographs.
